The fight against doping in sport is carried out through a number of laboratories accredited by WADA (World Anti-doping Agency). The experience and dedication by these few facilities has ensured that all sport can be assured that the results of analysis of urine and blood samples submitted to them is of the highest standard.
The laboratories have formed WAADS to allow them to interact within their own group as well as to provide assistance to others to combat the issue of doping in sport. Having such expertise within a group allows rapid communication of issues as well as information on current research and trends.
WAADS membership is open to all who meet the rules set out in the constitution and by-laws not only to members of accredited laboratories.
